Max. entries in contacts and calendar?

I'm considering to buy P1i, but there is something makes me think a lot.

Eldar wrote in his P1i review that,

The memory puts the following limitations on the data entries:
- Contacts – 2000 entries
- Calendar – 1000 entries
- Notes – 500 entries
- Tasks – 500 entries
- Email – up to 1000 letters
- Bookmarks – up to 500 entries

what does it mean? I know that in Symbian-based smartphones you have unlimited entries and fields especially in Contacts. Can't you enter more than 2000 entries in Contacts or more than 1000 entries in Calendar with P1i? If one can enter more than these values, what is the meaning of the limitations that mention in the review?
