nokia 6500 problem

I nokia 6500 classic came in yesterday. Everything was working I charged the battery through the usb cable. I wake up today and its shutoff black screen and it doesnt want to turn on. I thought maybe the battery was dead but I charged it yesterday and the battery was full. I try connecting the phone through the usb cable but the phone doesnt say charging and still doesnt want to turn on. Anyone know what the problem is with my phone. I love the phone looks sweet but it has a serious problem. Does this phone have an emergency turn-on or turn -off like my previous iphone i had. Also I took out the battery and simcard and put them back in but still nothing black screen.
